The holiday season is here, and the world around us has shifted dramatically. I know many of us are looking forward to the holidays. The time of year when we can reset, rest and reconnect with our loved ones either virtually or safely in person, and one of the ways we do that is gift-giving.

Forty-one percent of black-owned businesses have either temporarily or permanently closed their doors because of the Covid-19 pandemic in the US. The Blistey Lifestyle Store on Etsy is a store from the Blistey business directory of BIPOC businesses that focuses on bringing to light our ancestors both well known and some that are not so well known. Using clothing and using social and cultural mores to celebrate our heroes and heroines in a pretty fly way.
