Arepa Zone started out as a grocery delivery service providing door-to-door deliveries of Venezuelan food products around the DMV area. However, founders Gabriela Febres and Ali Arellano quickly became aware of the need for a proper Venezuelan restaurant in the area. In 2014, they launched their first food truck, serving delicious Venezuelan arepas on the streets of Washington, DC and Arlington.
