Avila Diana launched as a greeting card business with the hopes of overcoming stereotypes and changing the world’s perceptions of underrepresented communities. The business now extends to mugs, posters and tote bags as well as cards. All of the designs are created by founder Avila Chidume and depict marginalized groups including those with disabilities, identifying as LGBT+, ethnic minorities, or problems with mental health.
