Buster Mantis got its name from the first prime minister of Jamaica, Sir Alexander Bustamante. who was instrumental in establishing the country’s independence.

We are a small, independent family business. Our owners have lived between Jamaica and this area for the last 60 years. We opened Buster Mantis simply to add to the list of nice places to drink in Deptford.
