Daniella Senior moved to Washington D.C. from the Dominican Republic as a child. She opened Colada Shop in 2016 to showcase and celebrate the Cuban coffee tradition, and over the years both the menu and presence throughout the DMV have expanded. Come for Cuban cortadito, a breakfast empanada, a cuban sandwich for lunch, or grab one of the all-day eight dollar mojitos.

Colada Shop has additional locations in Potomac and Dupont Circle, and cafecitos in the Mosaic District and on 14th Street.
