The Indianapolis Recorder, published weekly in Indianapolis, Ind., is the fourth oldest-surviving African-American newspaper in the nation.

Since 1895, the Recorder has continued its legacy as Indiana’s Greatest Weekly by fulfilling its mission of “preparing a conscious community today and beyond” through up-to-date local and national news grounded in journalistic excellence.
