Ethiopian cuisine is few and far between in Fairfax County, which is why Meaza Restaurant has become such a staple for both local Ethiopians and those who love to partake in their traditional foods. Owner Meaza Zemedu started her business by supplying local Ethiopian stores with her home-baked injera bread, a decision that grew into her majestic restaurant. Delectable dishes such as injera bread, Doro wat stew, kitfo beef, and more are served among portraits of Ethiopian emperors and sweeping swirls of color.
