Semhar

Our restaurant is named after an Eritrean province on the Red Sea and is located on the East African coast. Thanks to its location, Semhar has formed a bridge between Asia, Europe, Africa and the Arab world in recent centuries.

The use of spices in cooking was influenced by contacts with Asia, but the dishes always remained African.

Restaurant Semhar uses seven main herbs in its kitchen in a constantly changing composition. These herbs are carefully selected in Eritrea and are not available in the Netherlands. Of course, the composition is the secret of restaurant Semhar.
Black-owned brand.
