Our grapes are grown and harvested in Vrede, Sonop, Geluksoord and Koelenbosch in Stellenbosch a wine region famous for its quality grapes. It is the granite and sandy stone soil with high clay content which gives the soil a high retention capacity together with the cooling South Easterly breezes that wash through the afternoons , refreshing the grapes after the morning’s hot sun and ultimately producing premium quality grapes for our wines.

Our grapes have been hand harvested in the early hours of the morning to preserve the quality of our grapes. Our wines are hand crafted with love and patience and you will experience the warmth and our sense of passion for wine through each sip of Siwela. Each cultivar was carefully chosen based on its dominating flavor character.
