Driven by her dream to create a home for her community she never found in bookstores growing up, Lucy Yu created a bookstore, cafe, and bar that showcases immigrant stories. Fun fact: The initials of the bookstore, YM, are Lucy’s mother’s initials. They symbolize the stories and love in different languages passed down for generations.
